DBA - Developer Programmer  -Dec 09 URGENT

DBA or similar required

  • We have a project to develop a system similar to betfair.com but for only one market. It is for one of our clients.
  • We urgently need to discuss this with prospective developers. The project will start in January.
  • Experience in developing trading platforms is an advantage but not essential. You will be responsible for the back end development and you will be experienced in developing component based applications in VB.net or c#.
  • You should have many years experience in developing complex, web based applications.
  • The salary is dependent on experience but will be in region of £45-55K.
  • The contract is initially temporary but there will probably be an ongoing requirement.
  • We are a web development agency based in West London and this project is for one of our clients.
  • You must have fluent English

SEO Trainee -  Job Ref SEO-NOV-O9

Datadial are looking for a trainee SEO to join a close-knit team at a West-London digital agency. We work with a wide range of clients, from start-ups to multi-national brands.

We’re not expecting you to be the finished product, but you must love the internet and digital and social media.

Desired Skills

  • Basic HTML/Dreamweaver
  • An interest in and basic knowledge of SEO and online marketing processes
  • Excellent written and oral English
  • Superb organisational skills
  • Familiar with social networks such as Digg Twitter and StumbleUpon
  • Familiar with blogs and blogging
  • Outgoing, well presented and comfortable dealing with clients at a senior management level
  • Experience/knowledge of running Pay Per Click campaigns

Job Spec

  • Client management consisting of telephone and face to face meetings - This is essential
  • Monitoring and analysing search engine and traffic rankings using specialised software
  • Preparation and delivery of client reports
  • Prepare, monitor and implement link development strategies
  • Instigate content creation and promotion

The role is office based in Hammersmith London
Salary dependant on skills and experience, in the region of £20-£25k Plus performance based bonus

Web developer - Job ref no WD-Oct08

We do not use agencies so if you are enquiring from an agency please do not bother.

You will have excellent knowledge and at least 2 years experience in programming in ASP.net and vb script. As well as this it is expected that you will have good CSS and HTML skills. You should be able to show previous experience in developing content management systems, e-commerce systems and any other similar work.

You will be well versed in the requirements for search engine friendliness in web build and development.

It is highly desirable that you have knowledge of other software packages such as Adobe Photoshop, Ilustrator and Macromedia Flash

If you are selected for interview, you should be able to demonstrate previous development work.

The initial contract is for 6 months and the salary will be based on experience and estimated between £24,000 and £29,000 pro rata.

We require a production manager to manage new web development projects and ongoing development needs. The role will also involve account management and general marketing for Datadial. 

Essential skills and experience:

  • Ability to communicate in clear jargon free English.
  • Ability to communicate ideas to clients and to interpret their requirements.
  • Previous experience working in a new media company
  • Knowledge of the processes involved in developing a complex database driven website with regards graphical and technical requirements
  • Efficiency, thorougness and hard work.

    Desirable skills:

    Knowledge of photoshop and ability to produce designs for web sites or ad hoc design jobs such as banners.
    Knowledge of SEO
    Knowledge of email marketing
    Knowledge of Desk top publishing tool such as indesign or Quark

We are looking to take on an enthusiastic and highly literate web designer to build our team further. This position requires the individual to be very creative and self-motivated, and to be able to juggle multiple tasks.


Essential skills are a strong knowledge of most of the following software packages:

2 years experience in a similar designer/developer role Ability to hand code HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XHTML, XSLT Working knowledge of W3C Standards Strong design skills and experience with tools Cross browser development experience - IE6+, Mozilla, Firefox, Safari.. Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator is essential. Knowledge of Macromedia Flash Experience and knowledge of the following: ASP.NET, C# , SQL Experience with web-related technologies: IIS, DNS, TCP/IP etc. is desirable.

You should be aware of requirements for search engine friendliness.

The quality and originality of your design work is more important than your actual web knowledge.

You must speak English

Salary: £22,000-£28,000 pro rata dependent on experience.
