Production manager


We require a production manager to manage new web development projects and ongoing development needs. The role will also involve account management and general marketing for Datadial. 

Essential skills and experience:

  • Ability to communicate in clear jargon free English.
  • Ability to communicate ideas to clients and to interpret their requirements.
  • Previous experience working in a new media company
  • Knowledge of the processes involved in developing a complex database driven website with regards graphical and technical requirements
  • Efficiency, thorougness and hard work.

    Desirable skills:

    Knowledge of photoshop and ability to produce designs for web sites or ad hoc design jobs such as banners.
    Knowledge of SEO
    Knowledge of email marketing
    Knowledge of Desk top publishing tool such as indesign or Quark

    Salary 20K-27K depending on experience

 

Web developer

this position has been filled
We are looking to take on an enthusiastic and highly literate web designer to build our team further. This position requires the individual to be very creative and self-motivated, and to be able to juggle multiple tasks.
Essential skills are a strong knowledge of most of the following software packages:

2 years experience in a similar designer/developer role Ability to hand code HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XHTML, XSLT Working knowledge of W3C Standards Strong design skills and experience with tools Cross browser development experience - IE6+, Mozilla, Firefox, Safari Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator Desirable Macromedia Flash Experience and knowledge of the following: ASP.NET, C# , SQL Experience with web-related technologies: IIS, DNS, TCP/IP etc.

Must be currently based in the UK and eligible to work in the UK.

MUST SPEAK ENGLISH FLUENTLY

Web designer

We currently require a freelance or part time web designer. You should be able to show a portfolio of work of previous websites.  You will have 2-3 years previous experience. 

HTML, CSS knowledge is not required but is advanatageous
FLASH knowledge is not required but is an advanatageous

You should be aware of requirements for search engine friendliness.

The quality and originality of your design work is more important than your actual web knowledge.
You must be prepared to come to our offices to work for certain projects. 
You must speak English

Salary: £22,000-£28,000 pro rata dependent on experience.
