have to say I&#039;ve had zero success with the Google Webmaster Tools geo-targeting. Have tried it on a few european subdomains and all it has done is reduced traffic! 

Admittedly, that was 6 months ago, but too much of a risk to try again in the short term.

It&#039;s not important that you host your website in the country where you like get listed in the serps. Just host your domain&#039;s DNS in the country, like:
