Mobile App Development Agency London
Touch, slide, pinch, swipe - these are the pleasures of mobile usage.
“There’s an app for that”
You can find an app for practically any of your daily requirements these days. From speaking directly to a doctor to finding your car to finding a date, there’s an app for everything. You can’t move these days without someone telling you that “there’s an app for that”
Maybe there are too many apps and the leap to develop an app is often made before a clear business case has been made for one. In most cases, a mobile-friendly website is more appropriate.
There are currently three main platforms on which you might develop an app: iOS, Android and Windows Mobile. We can build for any of these. Each one comes with a development and support cost, so again the app route is not for the faint-hearted.
As a mobile development agency in London, we have developed apps for Pearson, a leading computer-based testing and assessment business in the World; the World’s largest provider of exam qualifications and The Poke – the funniest website in the UK.
There are of course some advantages of developing native apps
They can be more feature-rich than a mobile site because it can take full advantage of the processing power of the device. A mobile website is often limited by the capabilities of the browser, but this is not the case with a native app. You’ll also be able to take full advantage of handset features such as GPS, NFC and other local services.
The app store in which you distribute the app can actually become a promotional and revenue-driving channel all its own, exposing your brand to new eyes every single day.
Where do we do it?
All our mobile, iOS and Android app work is carried out in-house by our app developers at our Hammersmith office in West London, W6. We do not outsource our work. We are a team of about 15, geared towards building our clients’ businesses and brands online.
Pointcode – Bespoke Application –
The official Pointcode application is a free tool that allows candidates to learn and understand the computerized environment of the test before going into an exam center Pointcode.
The application includes a checklist for candidates and a video presentation of Pointcode examination centers. It also allows you to subscribe to the code review session of the route you choose.
The touch control is only available in the mobile application. To offer the best possible experience, trials organized in our test centers are held on computer mouse.
